AUSTRIAN POKER TOUR III 80,000€ GTD: VLADO MINARÍK IN GREAT FORM TOOK OVER APT WITHOUT A DEAL FOR 20,080€!
Yesterday was the day of the third edition of the Austrian Poker Tour with an 80,000€ GTD, to which the casino paid almost 13,000€. The last 16 elite players made it to the final day, where Vlado Minarík held the chip leaders’ position. The last steps in the tournament were waiting for players and they all turned their attention to one thing - first place and a prize of 20,080€.
It didn't take long and after less than three hours the APT final table was formed; when Marek Homola, Markus Wittmann, Anita Mudrochová, Martina Janovcová, Patrik Ciklamíni, Martin Mydlárik were ordered from the game and the well-known player of the Bratislava poker scene Andrej Pirník dropped out in tenth place, who collected 1,203€ for his good performance.
At the beginning of the APT final table, the forces were divided as follows:

Within 25 minutes we had the opportunity to see three quick so-called "Seat opens" by Juraj Liška, Jaroslav Pipiška and Sebastian Ambroz, which made it clear that the third champion would again be the home player.
Vlado Bednár took sixth place, when on the 9x 8x Jx flop he bet everything on the Jx TX combination against the Doctor, who showed the Qx Jx . Only "bricks" landed on the turn and river, which sentenced Bednář to a profit of 2,858€. After Vlado, Doctor was ordered from the game, followed by the last female representative Lea, who earned 4,888€ for her performance.
Jozef Krajan finished just before the gates of the final, when as a short stack he could not dial with a combination of Kx 6x into the eights of Minarík. The compatriot collected a reward of 7,069€ at the Banco Casino cashier.
The final hand came with the midnight! On the Kx Qx 7x flop, Vlado Minarík faced an all-in from Petr Sedláček, who called very quickly. Vlado held the set queen and the opponent was behind with a combination of 6x 3x. The blank turn and river marked the end of the tournament and Petr Sedláček's second place, for which he earned 10,904€.
The third champion of the Austrian Poker Tour with a GTD of 80,000€ became Košice's super-talent Vlado Minarík, who booked another big victory and continues in great shape. The young man from the metropolis of the East part of Slovakia is finally taking home a trophy from Banco Casino Bratislava, in addition to a big financial prize of 20,080€, which will forever remind him of this tournament. Congratulations!
