The six-day poker “insanity” called Banco Casino Masters ended pompously at Banco Casino Bratislava - the final day under the spotlight of cameras. The sixteenth champion and winner of the highest prize of 21,152 Euros have been found; leaving with fantastic cash prize along with a ticket to the upcoming Banco Casino Masters. Who won the prestigious title?
Before the start of Day 2 at 11:00 am., a hyper turbo took place, in which the participants created 59 entries and the last 7 "fighters" secured their participation. In total, the sixteenth edition of the Banco Casino Masters recorded 754 entries, while breaking the guarantee! A beautiful 113,100 Euros were collected and a great 21,152 Euros were waiting for the winner.

The biggest chip leader Roland Weag took care of three eliminations out of five from the very beginning. Peter Eliáš, Karol Masarovič, Dragan Filipovič, Miloš Zerzewski, Peter Kamaras, Milan Kučera gradually dropped out of the tournament followed by Zsolt Szabó, who dropped out in front of the gates of the final table.
The final table was occupied by the nine most successful participants in this edition of the Masters; Roland Weag still on the chip leader position. Well-known names meant quality poker and a big fight for the title of champion!

The final table crystallized after two and a half hours of play since the start of the final day, and Weag continued to increase his aggressive chip lead. It took about an hour and a half to meet the first victim, Vitez Balint. He ran with his big slick into a combination of queen jack of chip leader "Rolo" and jack on the board decided that the ninth place and the 1,821€ reward went to Hungary. The home player Ákos Meszároš dropped out in a tight sling with 2,356€; not too long after another seat opened presented by Marek Miček who left with 2,999€.
The sacks with eliminations tore and once again three more were ordered from the game, two of them Rola - Santa in sixth place for 3,855 Euros, Jiří Havlíček took fifth place for a nice 5,140€ and Braňo "Rudo" Ondruš finished fourth, who had to pick up 6,961 Euro at cash register.
After eliminating "Rudo" from the game, Roland Weag held more than half of the chips and his rivals Masters champion Dominik Desset and SSOP champion Gábor Deák held the smaller half divided almost in half. Roland "Roll" Weag's amazing ride was stopped by a couple of champions and, according to Dominic Desset, "I started him, and he finished him." Roland "Rolo" Weag received 9,370 Euros from the Banco Casino Masters for his performance.
Masters champion Dominik Desset and SSOP high-roller champion Gábor Deák fought their way to the heads-up. The heads-up lasting more than two hours ended up sadly for the home player Dominic Desset, who had to settle for 12,851€ for his great performance.
Gábor Deák from Hungary became the sixteenth champion of the Banco Casino Masters. For excellent performance in the tournament, he takes 21.152 Euros from Banco Casino Bratislava and a ticket to the next Banco Casino Masters.
