Before the final table, it looked like this:

  • Seat 1: Ladislav Červený – 590,000
  • Seat 2: Vojtech Novanský – 2,025,000
  • Seat 3: Andrej Gecler – 875,000
  • Seat 4: Andrej Pirník – 1,710,000
  • Seat 5: Paul Tartak – 940,000
  • Seat 6: Ján Černý – 3,705,000
  • Seat 7: Luboš Polakovič – 1,260,000
  • Seat 8: Karol Masarovič – 1,500,000
  • Seat 9: Matúš Schnierer – 1,900,000

The finalists did not even manage to warm up properly under the spotlight and we have already seen the first seat open. Ninth place with a prize of 1,294€ went to Paul Tartak when he opened a good AxKx combination. Vojto Novanský took a 3-bet on the big blind with a combination of 76 in his heart and Paul just called. Fate cards Kx 7x 6x landed on the flop. Novanský bet, the opponent raised and Vojto pushed it all. Tartak called and after the blank tour and the river he had to say goodbye to the tournament as the first finalist.

Behind him, Masters champion Laco Red had to leave, when his KxJx failed to dial into the opponent's combination KxQx. Red as a short stack lost all chips and that meant eighth place and a reward of 1,734€.

Another victim of preflop all-in was home player Matúš Schnierer, who lost a premium hand called a big slick (AK) against Černý's sevens. The low board 3x 3x 4x 8x 2x sentenced Matúš to seventh place with a reward of 2,260€.

Kajo Masarovič, a well-known cash game player from the Bratislava poker scene, took the sixth place and earned 3,021€. Even in this case, the decision was made preflop all-in, when Kajo sent all 12 big blinds with Ax 8x to the bottom after Černy's open. Chipleader Černý called with Kx Qx and the king appeared on the flop and decided the fate of Karol Masarovič.

Černý also scored another time; Pirník became a fatal pair of fives, which brought him only destruction during the final day. In the last game he sent 6 big blinds with an incriminated hand and Černý called 4 times with Ax. Three cards landed on the flop 5x Jx 2x, giving Pirník a big chance to double up. Well, there should not be a three on the turn, which meant a better winning combination for Černý. The river Four has not changed anything and Pirník took home 4,493€.

Andrej Gecler finished fourth when he decided to send sixes against Černý's open. He did not hesitate and snap-called, since he kept the best starting hand in poker. Five community cards did not contain six and Andrej had to settle for a reward of 6,644€.

Polakovič was closest to falling out at that moment, but he was able to happily double with AT to AJ of Novanský. From that moment on, big things started to happen. Černý's chip position was lost and the two gentlemen Novanský and Polakovič cut each other bit by bit. Finally, the “black Peter”, who meant third place, was "pulled out" by Vojto Novanský, when he found sevens on the button and opened them. Polakovič found something better on the big blind and 3beted. Vojto sent everything in and Polakovič called with the queens. The board did not help the sevens and Vojto Novanský had to go for a payout worth of 10,155€.

Polakovič entered the heads up as a clear chip leader with 104 big blinds and Jan Černý pulled for a shorter end in the form of 16 big blinds. It did not take long and the key, in other words the final hand that began innocently. Polakovič limped T2 in color and Černý checked with a combination of 98 out of color. On a rainbow flop, T J K Polakovič bet and his opponent raised. Polakovič decided to call that raise. 4 landed on the tourn and we heard the famous all-in. Polakovič decided to call and after the blank river he sentenced Jan Černý to second place, collecting 15,015€.

The eleventh champion of the Banco Casino Masters became the home player Ľuboš Polakovič, who took home a beautiful 23,045€ from Banco Casino Bratislava and a ticket to the Slovak Series Of Poker Main Event. Congratulations!
