Before the final table, it looked like this:

  • Ciklamíni Patrik - 7,340,000
  • Minarík Vladimír - 4,125,000
  • Ankucic Nebo - 2,160,000
  • Biznár Miroslav - 1,835,000
  • Marušinec Samo - 1,625,000
  • Pfeffer Richard - 1,125,000
  • Groblewski Jakub - 990,000
  • Lacina Laco - 555,000
  • Krchnár Marek - 330,000

It started with blinds of 30,000 - 60,000 (ante 5,000) and right from the beginning we saw a seat open played by Marek Krchnář, who tried to capitalize on a short stack with AxTx but came across Marušinec's horses. They resisted and Krchnár took home 1,369€ and a 165€ ticket to the Masters, as did all the finalists.

The eight-place traveled to Poland for Jakub Groblewski, who went preflop all-in with sixes against Vlado Minarík with fours, while the qualifier from Monte Carlo Košice covered him. It already looked like a double up, but the well-known dealer Ivo Mečiar left nothing to chance and drew four on the river. The Polish representative received a reward of 1,727€.

The big poker game took place in the following blinds when Richard Pfeffer called 1,2 mil. all-in on UTG + 1 and two positions behind him, Patrik Ciklamíni found AxQx out of colors and with this combination he called all-in. Button Ankucic with tens decided to call and exposed himself to the possibility of falling out. The board brought 9x 2x 4x 8x Kx and we saw a triple up of Ankucic with the elimination of Richard Pfeffer in seventh place with a reward of 2,247€.

The next eliminated was home player Miroslav Biznár, who dropped out when he sent 13 big blinds with Ax Tx in color and Laco Lacina found a few jacks on the small blind. He called and, after an insignificant board, Biznár took home 2,808€ from Banco Casino Masters.

Fifth place was taken by Laco Lacina, who after the game opening from Ankucic sent his entire short stack with AxTx in color. Ankucic called with a heart-colored Ax Qx and needed a safe board, which undoubtedly 9x Kx 6x 2x 4x was and Laco Lacina won 3,756€.

This was followed by a long game in which chips were poured between the last four settlers of the final table - Minarík, Ankucic, Ciklamíni and Marušinec. The big blind jumped to 120,000 chips and it became serious. Minárik opened tens at 260k and behind him Ciklamíni on button with 7x 6x in hearts sent 2.8 mil. Ankucic with Ax Jx, 5x 9x 2x on the flop; Ankucic had a flush draw, turn 4 in the hearts opened and tangled the game very strongly. River's diamond ace has solved this mystery and Patrik Ciklamíni takes 5,035€ from the Masters for his performance.

After Ciklamíni dropped out, there was a debate about a possible deal. Gentlemen agreed and the numbers looked like this with a overtime of at least 10%, in other words 4,500€:

  • Vladimír Minárik - 13,868€
  • Nebo Ankucic - 14,634€
  • Samo Marušinec - 12,007€

The third place was taken by Samo Marušinec in the end, when he went to fight with 14 big blinds with Kx Jx to Ankucic with a pair of eights. The blank board earned Sam a great third place and a reward of 12,007€, which he agreed in the deal.

Nebo Ankucic and the Košice qualifier Vlado Minárik fought their way to Heads-Up, pulling a great series after the tournaments. The home player pulled for a shorter end in a ratio of 1 to 3. The Austrian player systematically cut from Minárik's stack until Vlado fell to 2 million. Then came the all-in, which decided everything - Ax 3x in color against the opponent's fours. We have not seen any Ace, therefore Vlado Minárik finished on second place and took home 13,868€ from the Banco Casino Masters for his great performance. Vlado became the best Slovak in the tenth edition of the Masters.

The winner of the jubilee Banco Casino Masters became the Austrian player Nebo Ankucic, who after a three-way deal and overtime of 4,500€ takes home a beautiful prize of  19,134€ and a ticket to the next Masters, which will take place next month from 24.5. to 29.5. Congratulations!
