Poker event started at Banco Casino from four o'clock in the afternoon, when the most successful sixteen players came together and they unpacked the promotion envelopes. The final day was in a international composition; consisting of players from the domestic, Hungarian, Austrian, Mexican and Italian scenes, so there was a lot to see.

The first phase of the final day was the reduction of the playing field to the final table. Vlado Fabok (16th) remained standing in front of the gates of the final table for 1,198€; with 1,597€ finished Barrios Josue David (15th), Ján Kožuch (14th), Karol Salay ml. (13th); with 2,053€ left Galotti-Toth Balász (12th), as well as the chip leader of the opening days Tomáš Szabo (11th) and Jozef Libo.

Around eight o'clock in the evening, a final table was formed, at the beginning of which Stano Grochál chip leaded, remaining chips ranking looked like this:

  • 1. Daniel Prior / AT – 1,915,000
  • 2. Alessandro Pezzoli / IT – 2,315,000
  • 3. Milan Šajánek / SK – 1,345,000
  • 4. Mark Szabó / HU – 2,110,000
  • 5. Miroslav Juriš / SK – 5,035,000

The compilation of the final table did not take long, but the game with nine players was never ending. No one wanted to drop out for a long time until "black Peter" fell into the hands of beginning chip leader Alessandro Pezzoli. Behind him, the Austrian player Daniel Prior was ordered from the game leaving home with 3,194€, followed by the home team Milan Šajánek who said goodbye to the tournament in seventh place for 3,821€.

Another well-known home player, Nikolas Kvasai, took sixth place and a reward of 4,506€ from Banco Casino. Miroslav Juriš (5,247€) and Matúš Baša (6,274€) were subsequently eliminated from the game after.

Three remaining players, two “home” gentlemen Andrej Pirník and Stano Grochál and the Hungarian representative Mark Szabó continued in the game until a possible deal was finally discussed. The tournament clock stopped and the floormanager revealed possible numbers. Gentlemen had approximately the same stacks, but no agreement was reached, so the tournament clock "sounded" again. After a long fight, the third place went to the Hungarian representative Mark Szabó, who took home 9,924€ for his performance.

Immediately after the elimination, Pirník and Grochál agreed on a deal in equal parts of 16,663€ and an overtime for 3,703€. Andrej Pirník pulled in the overtime in the shorter end and had to settle with second place.

Stanislav Grochál became the champion of the Pokerakademia Open Main Event at Banco Casino Bratislava, taking home the biggest prize of 20,366€, a trophy and a title. Congratulations!
