EXCELLENT START TO THE SUMMER POLISH POKER CUP AT BANCO BRATISLAVA!
Banco Bratislava is currently hosting the Summer Polish Poker Cup, and after just two days, it's reporting a fantastic start—high attendance and even bigger prize pools. In this article, you'll find the names of the players who have advanced, and today’s schedule includes the first side event, a Deepstack €15,000 GTD with a €250 buy-in, starting at 5:00 PM. Plus, there will be two more chances today to advance in the Main Event €250,000 GTD!
The Summer Polish Poker Cup Main Event, featuring a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000 GTD, completed its second starting flight, registering a solid 145 entries! A strong start usually foreshadows even bigger days ahead, and that means massive prize pools not only in the Main Event but also across the side events. One of them is on today’s schedule: the Deepstack €15,000 GTD, kicking off at 5:00 PM with a €250 buy-in.
Tuesday’s action brought in 145 entries, and 15 more players secured their seat in Day 2 on Sunday by advancing from the Main Event. Congratulations to all of them! Today, players have two chances to make it through:
- Day 1C starting at 6:00 PM
- Day 1D Turbo starting at 11:00 PM
Summer Polish Poker Cup 250.000€ GTD – 1B:
The Slovak Series of Poker has been the official national championship of Slovakia since 2016. This prestigious festival will return in early September for its eighth edition, attracting players from all over the world. The rich schedule includes not only big prize pools but also bracelet events. Winners of these select tournaments will receive special SSOP bracelets, in addition to generous cash prizes.
A highlight of SSOP 2025 is the competition for the "Most Successful Player of the Series". The winner of this title will receive not only recognition, but also the “Golden Passport” worth over €3,000, which grants access to the 2026 edition of the SSOP.
Kicking off in September, the SSOP Main Event offers a huge €300,000 GTD prize pool. A special Chipleader Bonus worth a total of €3,600 is also up for grabs. In each Day 1 flight (1A – 1K), the top three chip stacks will be rewarded immediately:
- 1st place: €2,100
- 2nd place: €900
- 3rd place: €600
The bonus is paid out immediately after the flight ends, giving players instant rewards for strong performances.
