The Greek Poker Champions main event at Banco Casino recorded 926 entries during the opening days, which was barely enough for the guarantee, and the casino paid twelve thousand euros to 92 advancing to Day 2. The second playing day of the Main Event started at 16:00, when 92 players unpacked their progressive stacks at the poker tables. Security envelopes of every size meant players needed big blinds for the game. From the beginning, the players did not give anything to each other, and the loud "seat open" and the table number including the seat echoed through the Banco Casino poker room.
