The fifth edition of the Slovak Series Of Poker, launched with the introductory event Warm Up, which took place yesterday. The guarantee of thirty thousand for the entrance fee of only 55 Euros with the attribute of the first SSOP tournament attracted a poker crowd of the domestic and foreign poker scene. The initial distribution of the SSOP Warm Up took place at five o'clock, when the poker audience gradually met at Banco Casino Bratislava. The 55€ entry fee was turned into 25,000 chips and traditionally in a one-day tournament; all chips had to end up in the hands of one player. Warm Up brought 370 entries along with 292 add-ons created by poker enthusiasts during the initial registration levels, but they didn't break the guarantee.

After the closing of the registration, the organizer of Banco Casino revealed a payout structure in which 37 players were crammed and the champion was awarded with a prize of 5,539€ and an SSOP ticket to the 200,000€ GTD main event worth 250€. An interesting poker theater was performed by the participants and it was really hot at the poker tables. Of course with increasing time and blinds the players dwindled and just after two in the morning the "bubble" burst. From that moment on, everyone was guaranteed with 147€. The remaining players continued at a brisk pace, and after three hours of play, the final table was formed, the cast of which promised a real "war":
