IPC ME 80,000€: ONE-MAN SHOW PRESENTED BY MAREK BLAŠKO FOR 20,000€

The five-day Israeli Poker Championship, called the Israeli Poker Championship, had a final day scheduled for Sunday afternoon, which decided who would take home the biggest trophy and a 20,000€ prize. Nine players made it to the final table and the eyes of the home fans were fixed on the trio of Blaško, Lelek and Gabzdil.

The main event of the Israeli Poker Championship had a final day on the program at Sunday at Banco Casino Bratislava, which brought together the 9 most successful participants in this edition. A total of 165 entries in this event meant breaking the guarantee and the participants played for the collected guarantee, which was redistributed by the 17 best. Before the final table, it looked like this:

  • Marek Blaško - 1 364 000
  • Miro Lelek - 1 021 000
  • Ogoc Minh Hoang - 778 000
  • Shay Alfi - 475 000
  • Matúš Gabzdil - 413 000
  • Pieyre Maggi - 282 000
  • Yaniv Alfi - 256 000
  • Dmitri Dan - 204 000
  • Andriy Palyuga - 158 000

Right at the beginning of the final table, we saw a hurricane named Marek Blaško. He handled four players in such a quick sequence that they did not even have time to move chips. Blaško took care of Pieyre Maggi, Andriy Palyuga, Shay Alfi, Dmitri Dan and Yanif Alfi.

Another eliminated became Matúš Gabzdil, who after the opening of the game by Marek Blaško sent a shortstack of 350,000 with Ax 6x. Marek, who was playing well, had sevens at that moment, with whom he called. Seven on the flop "equipped" Gabzdil, who took home a beautiful 7,120€ for his performance in the tournament.

Miro Lelek took third place when he got into a preflop all-in squeeze for his stack with Kx 9x. Blaško turned AxJx and after a double ace on the board sent Lelek out of the tournament. Miro took home beautiful 9,285€ from ME IPC.

The deal did not take place for a split of a second and the right heads-up was played with a bit of tension how it will turn out. Marek Blaško systematically cut the opponent's stack. Blaško did not ease up in heads-up and finished the Israel Poker Championship with a preflop all-in with aces to his opponent's KxTx. Ogoc Minh Hoang took home 13,466€.

Marek Blaško performed a one-man show at the final table and the start-finish mode worked great. For his famous performance, Marek received a prize of 20,000€, the title of champion and a trophy intended only for the winner. Congratulations!
