TheFestival at Banco Casino has kicked off in full force, the main tournament, which is the largest guaranteed tournament of all times - a 300,000€ guarantee. There was also a Sviten Special, which was won by George Sandford and a charity tournament, which donated 8,000€. The opening day was dominated by Palo Melichar, who built the largest stack out of 108 entries. Today the Main Event continues from 12:00 today with 1B day!

No one has guaranteed so much in the Slovak Republic until Banco Casino brought such an event to domestic guests. The huge 300,000€ guarantee and a 550€ entry fee attracted not only domestic players, but also foreign ones who love poker.

The opening day of TheFestival’s 300,000€ GTD Main Event brought 108 entries and after the opening ten levels, 38 players enjoyed the promotion. The biggest promotion stack was packed by the home player Pavol Melichar, who settled on the imaginary throne of the chip leader after the first day!

During the evening, a charity tournament also took place, the first two participants of which, if successful, could donate the money won to a good cause. The winner was Ylva Torsrud and donated her 4,800€ prize to the "SOS Childrens Villages" world foundation, which helps children in need around the world. The runner-up of this tournament Kresten Hougaard donated 3,200€ to an animal rescue organization in Malta. Nice poker tournament with a great idea, good job!
Sviten Special, which is a very popular and extremely popular poker format in the Nordic countries, has attracted 37 players who have created a 7,400€ prize pool. After the victory, home player George Sandford took home almost 3,000€ for his performance!
