During the last three days, Banco Casino Bratislava has hosted the Vienna Poker Weekend, which will surely be remembered by three new poker champions Juhás, Janicijevic, and in yesterday’s 30,000€ GTD tournament, the local player Milan Dunko won. The Banco Casino Masters will start with satellites from tomorrow and the big fight for 100,000€ will start from Wednesday!

During the weekend, Banco Casino Bratislava hosted a tournament series called "Vienna Poker Weekend". The first tournament in the series took place on Thursday and carried the adjective "progressive knockout" with a 5,000€ guarantee. It did not withstand the pressure of the poker community and a total of 70 entries were collected. The trophy fell into the hands of Attila Juhas, who received a great financial reward and his first valuable victory at Banco Casino.

Friday night had a Monsterstack on the program, which guaranteed 10,000 Euros, but even before the tournament, 50 registered players signaled that the guaranteed prize pool would be just a formality. Already after the first break, the players nodded the guarantee, and the prize pool grew comfortably. More prize pool, more attention, and more atmosphere - this ratio has always been valid in the poker world, and last night only confirmed it.The number of entries stabilized at 167, which meant  14,035€ collected (including 151 addons). The winner was awarded with a prize of almost 3,000€, including a ticket to the Banco Casino Masters 100,000€ GTD, which will start next week.

The remaining four players agreed on a deal in equal parts for 1,688€, and after the final finish, Marjan Janicijevic from Austria became the official winner!

Saturday brought the Main event of the Vienna Poker Weekend series to Banco Casino Bratislava, which guaranteed a whopping 30,000€ with only 110€ buy-in. Before the start of the tournament, up to 70 players managed to register, picked up their tickets and secured their starting chips and a place at the poker table. The whole day at Banco Casino revolved around poker, and it was clear from every group standing in the casino that real fights were going on during the evening, as the players exchanged both unbelievable and incredible experiences from the Banco Casino poker tables.

Twelve levels had players the opportunity to participate in the tournament or reach for re-entry. Total of 215 entries secured the poker community 22 "money" seats, while 6,421€ was waiting for the champion, including a ticket for next week's Masters 100,000€ GTD.
