The 28th edition of the Banco Casino Masters recorded 549 entries during the opening days, which was not enough to collect the guarantee. From all the opening days, 55 players fought their way to the second day of play, the number of which was reduced to the TOP 16 during Sunday. They presented themself yesterday at the last two tables, where it was decided who will become the finalist and who will remain in front of the gates of the final. Erich Lang, Lászlo Papai, Markus Ivancich, Yugay Vassiliy, Vitalia Scherba, Matúš Schnierer remained in front of the gates of the final and Rado Fridrich was the last to be eliminated from the "semi-final".

The final table saw the light of day at seven o'clock in the evening and the players transferred their elaborate chips to the TV table.

The first to leave the final line-up was the Austrian player Franz Ziegerhofer for 1,570€, followed by Vlado Bednár for 2,485€ after a non-dial match, and Dominik Desset, who took home 3,235€ from the Masters, took seventh place. Another home player, Miloš Németh, was eliminated in sixth place with a reward of 3,985€, and Matej Maceják, who did not dial a massive coinflip on the chip leader's chair, became next, when his AK lost to TT of Ati10. Maceják won 4,835€ for his performance. Kevin Mild said goodbye to the Masters two hands later, when his A4 was not enough for AT Spot. Mild credited his account with 5,705€.

 

Third place went to Michael Zloczower, who failed to dial K8 in his hearts into Ati's AQ combination. Michael took home 8,135€ from Banco Casino.

The home player Ľudovít Spot with a stack of 7.2 million and Ati from Austria, who held twice as many chips, fought their way to the heads-up. They gave the floor and closed the deal 15,395€ for Ati and Spot secured a minimum of 13,700€ by agreement. They continued ti play for 3,145€. Home player Ľudovít Spot pulled for a shorter end and had to settle for 13,700€ and second place.

 

The No. 28 champion of Banco Casino Masters became Ati, who took home 18,540€ from Banco Casino Bratislava. The title travels to Austria and we congratulate the new Masters champion!
