The organizer of this exceptional tournament is Banco Casino in cooperation with the founder of the Slovak poker organization for the deaf, Ladislav Hlavatý. He has inaudibility since being born, as have his parents and brother. He has worked with deaf people all his life, so he knows the world of silence very well. Ladislav Hlavatý began his career first as the head of sports team, then as the chairman of the football team, and finally as the club's secretary. Later on he made it to the president of deaf athletes in Slovakia. He started playing poker in 2014 and thanks to contacts abroad he managed to get a lot of information about this popular card game. Since 2015, he has been organizing poker tournaments for the deaf. In 2018, he founded the Deaf Poker Club. In addition, he actively helps and works in the cultural and social field for people with this disability.

Poker is the world's domain and by far the most beautiful card game, as evidenced by the rich participation not only of domestic players, but also of players from Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and more exotic destinations such as players from Jamaica who joined event for great poker experience.

The casino had a great atmosphere right from the morning, and after the poker dealers were trained by the lecturers, everything could start. Banco Casino croupiers have undergone special training to learn the basic signs of sign language needed for a poker table. Admission of 60€ with the possibility of a double re-buy was chosen by the participants according to taste. The first International Deaf Poker Tournament in Slovakia was looking for a winner for whom a financial reward and a unique trophy was prepared, which will forever commemorate the triumph at Banco Casino.

After closing the registration, Banco Casino announced a payout structure that "fit in" nine players. The friendly atmosphere prevailed until the very end, when Pavel Kocour from the neighboring Czech Republic took home the biggest prize of  2,241€ and won the first title of champion from the first international poker tournament for the deaf held in Slovakia!
