BANCO CASINO THIRTY GRAND 30,000€ GTD: PETER HEIZER CONVERTED 77€ TO 5,607€ AND THE TITLE OF CHAMPION!
The first big tournament of the Banco Casino Thirty Grand new poker season, with a 30,000€ guarantee, had its closing day on Sunday. The poker tournament called Thirty Grand recorded 411 entries and this time the guarantee resisted very tightly. On the final day, 71 poker players presented themselves on the road to the title and a reward of 6,120 Euros. How did it turn out at Banco Casino Bratislava?
Before the start of the final day, the final hyper-turbo flight took place, which recorded 46 entries and the final line-up was filled by another 15 players, which meant that 71 players fought for the 30,000€ prize pool. After the hyper turbo, it was clear how many players will be fighting for the guaranteed prize pool of 30,000€ and that the champion will receive 6,102 Euros. The poker fights for the title of Thirty Grand champion started at three o'clock, when everyone presented found out that 48 of them would reach to the paid positions. Min-cash started from 146 Euros, but as usual in tournaments, everyone stared at the highest paid positions.
The famous "bubble" burst two hours after the start, when Michal Krasňan was eliminated as the last unpaid player. From that moment everyone remaining in the game received a financial reward for their performance in the tournament; including well-known names were Peter Zolnai (46th), Boris Gál (45th), Karol Masarovič (44th), Štefan Kollár (43rd), Ľuboš Bihári (40th), Ludvo Kucharík (37th), Bubo (35) .), Marek Cachovan (34.), Vlado Bednár (33.), Janko Bobák (32.), Roman Okoličány (31.), Viliam Weiss (24.), Eva Mandáková (23.), Marek Homola (21. ), Vincent Kollárik (19th), Andrej Racek (17th) or Michal Náhlik (11th). Just after nine o'clock, the final table was formed, when Adam Nedbal (A9 <T8) dropped out in the last ten players.
The final table, loaded with well-known names, guaranteed excellent action, and before the first hand, it looked according chips like this:

The participants of the final day did not wait for anything and the poker fights started straight from the beginning. Three players were eliminated in quick succession, namely Henrich Mičulík for 524€ (AK <QJ), Deni Viktor (AQ <65) for 698€ and Václav Gajda took seventh place for 931€ after a big unlucky game with aces against jacks of Vágner.
The game did not slow down, the twists and turns of the game through the excellent line-up began to spin even more. That cost Vlado Fabok "neck" when he took the final sixth place for 1,222€. He was followed in a very short sequence by Juraj Picek, playing in good shape and leaving with 1,659€. The fourth place was taken by the well-known player Štefan Vágner, who collected 2,270€ for his work.
The remaining trio Krylov, Heitzer and Bobo discussed a possible deal. The idea was immediately successful and trio of gentlemen agreed that the third place will take home 3,500€, the second place 4,220€ and the champion will leave with 5,607 Euros. It didn't take long and Nikolay Krylov break out of the game in third place, followed immediately by Bobo in second place with 4,220€.
The champion of Banco Casino Thirty Grand became Peter Heizer, who won 5,607 Euros for his performance during the tournament and a trophy made only for the champion. Congratulations!
