The Opening Event attracted not only a quality home poker scene to the capital city, but players from the surrounding countries also joined in this poker adventure. From the beginning, it looked like a mass participation of the poker community and the tables were filled one after the other one. After an hour and a half of the game, the number of players quickly crossed the 100 mark.

Admission of 55€ and the opportunity to become the first ever champion of the Crown Poker Festival was a sufficient motivation for everyone. After eight levels, the late registration was closed and all present got to know the official numbers, which pleased everyone. The Opening Event was played by 129 players, who reached 45 times after the “new tournament life”. Together they created a prize pool of 8,700€ (3% was deducted for the staff). The winner received a beautiful reward of almost 2,000 Euros and, of course, a crown jewel - a gold ring worth of 1,800€! Through the excellent participation, the Opening Event had 18 paid seats and the first winner received a min-cash of 101 Euros. Nobody want to end up in the field of losers and therefore the sequence was clear - ITM, final table and coronation.

After almost ten hours of play, the final table was formed, on which 9 players fought their way through with David Kozlov as a chip leader.

The next two hours of play cleared out what everyone was curious about. The first champion of the Crown Poker Festival became the famous player Lubo Bubo, who took home 1,976€ in cash and the gold ring of the "King of CPF" worth of 1,800€. Congratulations to the first CPF champion!
