After another poker-filled week, the SPF Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of300,000 € concluded with Nikolas Kovács emerging as the winner after a 5-way deal, securing 38,610 €. The tournament saw the participation of a total of 979 players, and this time, the guarantee wasn't met. Banco Casino Bratislava will take a break from multi-day tournaments for now, but not for long. The Scandinavian Open Poker Championship with a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000 returns on January 8th, followed shortly by the EAPT Poker Tour with an overall guarantee of €350,000. On the flop Ac Xc Xc, there was about 8,000,000 in the pot, and Maestre bet 4,400,000. Nikolaus called, and on the turn Xx, Maestre continued for 7,700,000, which was about half of his remaining stack. Nikolaus put him all in, and Maestre called with Ax Kx. However, Nikolaus turned 9c 8c, and after an inconsequential river, Ivan finishes in second place.
