BANCO CASINO MASTERS #15 100,000€ GTD: NEBO ANKUCIC REWROTE THE HISTORY AND BECAME A DOUBLE MASTERS CHAMPION!

The year 2018 started with the largest regular poker tournament called the Banco Casino Masters, carrying a guarantee of 100,000€ for only 165€ buy-in. Masters continuously attracts an increasing number of foreign players who enjoy this tournament, including neighboring countries such as Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, but also from more distant destinations such as Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia or Romania.

The fifteenth edition of the Banco Casino Masters traditionally consisted of the opening days, where exactly 600 entries to the tournament were recorded. However, this was not enough for a hundred thousand euro guarantee and 10,000€ went from the casino treasury as a subsidy to players in the guarantee. Among the crowd of candidates for Day 2, 77 possible Banco Casino Masters champions won the “trip”, among whom there were many well-known names, which if you follow the events in the poker world, you are guaranteed to know them.

The January edition of the Masters also had the taste of the last classification tournament of the Masters League, where a freeroll will be played for 40,280€. In this edition of the Masters, players had one last chance to speak to the league standings. The first hundred places guaranteed them automatic advancement to the freeroll, and all participants are already in the ITM.

Seventy-seven players were given the task of advancing to the final day on Day 2, where the winner was awarded a huge prize of 20,170 Euros and the min-cash for the less fortunate started at 299 Euros. On the second playing day, plazers such as Kokso (77th), Pavel Chalupka (64th), Rišo Kováč (63rd), Peter Zolnai (62nd), Andrej Gecler (57th), Milan Lakatoš (52nd), Jaroslav Zubaj (47th), Miro Lelek (41st), Igor Remenár (39th), Roman Dohnány (37th), Štefan Vágner (34th), Marek Cachovan (30th), Miro Biznár (29th), Vladimír Valent ( 25th), Dávid Berdis (24th), Ľubo Žákovič (19th), Alan Sabo and Pavel Častvan didn’t make it through.

The final day was tasted by 15 players, who focused their attention on the only thing - a trophy intended for the Masters champion and the associated reward of 20,170€.
