Last year and 5,061 entries seemed like an unsurpassable number in our region, but no one knew what the year 2024 and the Polish Poker Championship in Banco Casino would bring, when word got around and a tournament with a guarantee of 500,000 euros and an entry fee of 130€ was announced to the poker community. The past few days have been literally fighting for advancement to today's Day 2, and the poker community did something unexpected and incredible - they registered 7,082 times, which is a huge record that will remain unbroken for at least a year. Congratulations to the poker enthusiasts!
In the Polish Poker Championship Main Event, the poker community collected an extreme prize pool of 782,782€, and today, all those advancing will divide this money among themselves, according to their performance. How? We will find out in the day, when Banco Casino will prepare and announce the payout structure, but more than 100,000 euros are on offer for first place! As expected, Saturday was the strongest day, and it was clear from the start that Banco Casino would report a "full house". After all, 400 players sat down for the opening hand, and you don't see that every day. Some had to wait for their chance, as no one expected such an onslaught from the poker community. Poker enthusiasts registered 2,500 times yesterday, taking the level of poker to another dimension, and the luckier ones will open their chips today from 15:00. Fingers crossed!

The fourth hour of the afternoon at Banco Casino belonged to the last nine players who took their place at the final table of the Polish Poker Championship Highroller, where an extreme 123,760€ was collected. The poker community registered 364 times and yesterday the last nine players fought for the title of champion and a prize of 23,260€. The best performance was performed by home player Martin Kubošek, who took home the full amount without a deal. Congratulations!
The Polish Poker Championship Mix Event also took place, alternating between tribute and pot limit omaha, and the poker community was not idle in this regard either. Up to 325 entries created a prize pool of 16,575€ and Daniel Cieslak from Poland went on to win!
In the second half of November, the international TheFestival will come again to Banco Casino and, in addition to hundreds of players, it will also bring the 500,000€ GTD Main Event with a 550€ entry fee. TheFestival plans to attack its record and will be playing for hundreds of thousands of euros in an attractive schedule that will provide all poker lovers with the real nut.
December will bring the Grand Final Spanish Poker Festival, which will bring a guarantee of 150,000 euros in the Main Event for a 225€ entry fee. Several dozen Spanish players will come to Bratislava to fight for SPF titles in the Grand Final - save the date December 9-16!
