The Slovak Series of Poker Main Event registered a total of 1,049 entries across all starting days, allowing Banco Bratislava’s poker guests to surpass the guaranteed prize pool.
A total of 105 players advanced to yesterday’s Day 2, each guaranteed a minimum payout of 60€. However, what was truly at stake were the 16 tickets to today’s final, where the Slovak Poker Champion for 2025 will be crowned, taking home the top prize of 37,515€.

Banco Bratislava has prepared a 6,000€ league for tournament players running from September 9 to October 5, where the top 40 players in the league will share the prize pool.
Scoring is simple: points are awarded for participation and placement, based on the buy-in amount. More details can be found on the casino’s website.

This week marks the start of the points race, with exciting weekend events such as the Friday Ladies Special with 5,000€ GTD and the Saturday Monsterstack with 20,000€ GTD.

 

The second starting day began at 4 PM, with the 105 players battling for the 16 available seats in today’s final.
After several hours of play, the names of the qualifiers were confirmed, with the chip leader being Krystian Gajda from Poland. We wish all finalists the best of luck!
