Happy weekend at Banco Casino! This is how we could characterize the past two days, which took place in the Banco Casino network, in Bratislava and in Košice. The poker crowd and jingle of tournament and cash chips were carried in both casinos. New poker champion took home the inconvertible feeling of victory, but above all of that, the really fat amount for their poker achievement at Banco Casino!

Bratislava's Banco Casino kicked off the weekend with a "Friday classic" with a 7,000€ guarantee, which was playfully defeated by the poker community. The prize pool went up to 9,120€ and was divided among the 17 best players. After the heads-up deal, Tomáš Pogáč left home with 1,622€ together with a ticket to the exclusive one-day Poker Open tournament with a 20,000€ guarantee, which took place yesterday at Banco Casino Bratislava.

On the other end of Slovakia, Košice Banco Casino hosted the legendary Košice Weekend, which is historically the longest-running regular tournament in Slovakia. The tournament part of Banco Casino Košice filled up fast and poker enthusiasts created an amazing 185 entries, thus easily beating the guaranteed 10,000€. A reward of 3,041€ awaited the champion and 14 players reached the paid positions. After the victory, Patrik Bystriansky, whose name was engraved in the winners' cup, joined the group of well-known names of the champions from Košice Weekend. Congratulations!

The biggest one-day event this weekend took place at Banco Casino Bratislava, where the poker community could play for at least 20,000€ for an entry fee of 120€. Everyone who entered the tournament received 30,000 chips. Exclusive game structure had to suit even the most demanding poker players, and it was "hot" in the casino from the very beginning. The great tournament attracted not only domestic poker scene, but also foreign players. Twelve levels to register brought a huge 223 entries and 221 add-ons, which together with the buy-ins went to the beautiful prize pool of 27,865€!

The tournament structure allowed the players playing the Poker Open to get best of it. In the morning, the final table was formed, with chip leader Michal Letovanec.
