PETR VLČEK BECAME THE KING OF MAIN EVENT WITH GTD 200,000€ CROWN POKER FESTIVALS LEAVING WITH 32,995€!

The main closing day of the successful Crown Poker Festival took place at Banco Casino Bratislava, where the total prize pool easily exceeded 300,000€. The last nine “Mohicans” of the Main Event gathered together, bearing the largest guarantee in the history of poker in Slovakia - 200,000€ GTD.

The Crown Poker Festival Main Event recorded 678 entries, this time several entries were still missing for the guarantee. Of course, Banco Casino pays off what it guarantees, and all 165 advancers were sure of the fight for 200,000€! The casino failed to collect the guarantee and paid 30,000€ to the participants, but despite this small black dot, the Crown Poker Festival was a beautiful poker event where the Slovak and foreign poker scene came together.

Before the start of the final day, according to chipcount it looked like followed:

  • Vrbacký Martin - 650,000
  • Vlček Peter - 3,485,000
  • Nanos Konstantinos - 4,025,000
  • Dedič Marek - 1,910,000
  • Biháry Bruno - 2,840,000
  • Chrobák Tomáš - 1,295,000
  • Ilavský Martin - 2,695,000
  • Tišliar Tomáš - 1,830,000
  • Baránek Peter - 3,100,000

The first to leave the final line-up was Marek Dedič, who did not win the "coinflip" with a pair of tens to the best unpaired combination of chip leader Konstantinos. Dedič took 3,492€ from the Main Event. The opening hour did not pass yet and those present had the opportunity to see a double seat open, which was taken care of by chip leader Konstantinos with a pair of queens; Martin Vrbacký and Maroš Tišliar were eliminated from the tournament.

Sixth place was taken by Peter Baránek, who unluckily said goodbye to the tournament with AK against AT of Nanos Konstantin. The ten "clinked" already on the flop and Peter took home 7,178€. Immediately after his elimination, the tournament hours stopped and there was a discussion about the deal. The very first debate was successful - the players shared chips according to the ICM and played for 10,000€ and the title of CPF champion together with the ring.

The deal guaranteed reward to the remaining five players in the following proportions:

  • Ilavský - 18,617€
  • Vlček - 22,946€
  • Bihári - 16,787€
  • Nanos - 16,446€
  • Chrobák - 15,666€

10,000 Euros were played for in overtime, so the game only slightly reduced vigilance and gradually Nanos Konstantinos, Tomáš Chrobák and Martin "Student" Ilavský fell out of the game.

Bruno Ferrari and Petr Vlček fought their way into the heads-up, while the second mentioned hold a huge chip lead. The heads-up didn't last very long when there was a final confrontation in the form of a pre flop all-in. Bruno sent Ax 4x and Petr found Kx Jx with what he called. The horse on the flop determined the overall standings in which Bruno Ferrari placed second.

Historically, the first champion of the Main Event with a 200,000€ GTD Crown Poker Festival became Petr Vlček, who after an excellent performance won 32,995€ from Banco Casino Bratislava, the title of champion and a beautiful gold ring, which will remind him his big victory. Congratulations!
