PETROS THEODOSIOU BECOMES THE NEW THE FESTIVAL MAIN EVENT CHAMPION AND TAKES HOME €39,480!

The successful sixth edition of The Festival at Banco Bratislava has officially concluded with a victory by Petros Theodosiou from Cyprus in the Main Event, earning him €39,480. The action at Banco doesn’t stop — on the contrary, the Norwegian Poker Championships are coming next, bringing a 10-day ride full of action!

The 6th edition of the highly popular The Festival lived up to its reputation, bringing exciting mixed games to Banco Bratislava along with a vibrant and ever-smiling poker community. The Festival is among the notable tournament series in Europe, and the 2026 season can be considered successfully underway!

The Main Event always attracts significant attention, and this one was no exception. The Festival Main Event saw a field of 505 entries, building a prize pool of €239,875. From the opening days, 64 players advanced to Saturday’s Day 2, each guaranteed €1,050. Naturally, the biggest attraction was the first-place prize of over €45,000. The second day reduced the field to the final table of nine players, all competing for the prestigious title.

 

In the heads-up match, Wieczorek and Theodosiou agreed on a deal, leaving €7,340 to play for. Petros Theodosiou came out on top in the final duel, securing the victory and taking home €39,480 from Banco Bratislava. Congratulations!

March continues with the 25th edition of the Norwegian Poker Championships. Following last year’s huge success, Norwegian players are returning in even greater numbers. A massive turnout is expected, as this event is a true passion for them and one of the biggest national poker celebrations in Europe.
