A record seven-figure prize pool in Slovakia is a reality! The Winamax Poker Open main event registered 2,221 entries, bringing the tournament's prize pool to 1,110,500€. Banco Casino, which organized a world-class event, is breaking record after record. History is being rewritten again and we can only wait to see what else Banco will come up with for its poker enthusiasts.

 

 

 

The fantastic participation of the poker community from all over Europe was able to join forces and create a great atmosphere during the whole event of the Winamax Poker Open, not only in the casino, but in the entire Old Town. Side activities, entertainment, parties and a good dose of poker resulted in a record prize pool worth 1.1 million Euros during the past few days. Yesterday was the strongest day of the Main Event, which had 1C and turbo flight 1D on the program. The first flight started at noon and during the open registration, it recorded a famous 929 entries, which is an extreme number with a 500€ entry fee.

According to advancing key, 178 players were sent to today's Day 2, who secured paid positions with their game, the so-called BMI. You can find all the names of those advancing at the end of the article.

The evening turbo started at 19:00 and brought the last candidates to advance to the record-breaking Main Event of the Winamax Poker Open. After the registration was closed, 234 entries were lit on the information board, which meant a NEW RECORD for the WPO Main Event and also a record for Slovak poker! Well done!

The last 39 advancers secured a "seat" in today's Day 2, where it will be decided who will participate in the final, in which tens of thousands of Euros will be given away. Good luck to all the contestants in their fight for the ME WPO Champion title at Banco Casino!
