THE SIXTH EDITION OF THEFESTIVAL AT BANCO BRATISLAVA: MAIN EVENT AND HENDON MOB CHAMPIONSHIP HAVE OFFICIALLY STARTED!
Action keeps rolling at Banco Bratislava — TheFestival kicked off on Monday, even before Vitali became the new Polish champion. Yesterday also marked the start of TheFestival Main Event, bringing the first advancing players, while Day 1B of the Hendon Mob Championship was also on the schedule. Great poker action was accompanied by celebrations, as the founder of TheFestival celebrated his birthday!
On Monday, The Festival Winter Edition – Special (23 February – 1 March) officially began — a unique poker concept known for offering the widest mix of games and formats in Europe. RAZZ, HORSE, PLO, Sviten, 8-Game, and exclusive mixed formats make this festival a must-visit stop for anyone who loves variety, fun, and an exceptional atmosphere.

Yesterday at Banco Bratislava was lively not only because of poker action but also thanks to the birthday celebration of TheFestival founder Franke, who celebrated his 52nd birthday in great style. Happy birthday, Franke!

From the poker action, the highlight was the start of the Main Event, featuring a €550 buy-in. Behind the scenes, it is expected that more than 200 qualifiers will join the field. Day 1A recorded 38 entries, with 12.5% of the players advancing — meaning five potential champions moved on. Congratulations to all advancing players!

Part of yesterday’s schedule was also Day 1B of The Hendon Mob Championship, featuring a €250 buy-in and already generating a prize pool exceeding €30,000. Every day of TheFestival offers excellent tournaments, and it’s up to you which event will earn you a Festival champion title.

March will begin with the 25th Norwegian Poker Championship. After last year’s huge success, Norwegian players are returning — this time in even greater style. A massive turnout of Norwegian players is expected, as the event is a true passion for them and one of the largest national poker celebrations in Europe. The anniversary edition will attract hundreds of enthusiastic players ready to create action at every table. The schedule will also include the open Poker North Masters Main Event, guaranteeing a €300,000 prize pool with a €400 buy-in.

In April, players can look forward to two major events. The first will crown Slovak poker champions at the Slovak Poker Open, where the Main Event will guarantee €300,000 with a €250 buy-in. At the end of April, the Euro Poker Championship will follow, featuring a guaranteed €250,000 Main Event prize pool.
