SSOP THIRTY GRAND WITH 37,450€ PRIZEPOOL MEETS ITS THIRD CHAMPION JAROSLAV KOLÍN!
Slovak Series Of Poker had a busy schedule throughout Sunday at Banco Casino Bratislava. The SSOP Thirty Grand met everyone who proceeded to the final day, where the third champion of this series was crowned.
The four-day SSOP Thirty Grand tournament recorded a total of 535 entries during all of the opening days; this generated a beautiful prize pool of 37,450 Euros. Up to 90 players secured their desired progress during the "16 levels", which meant the opportunity to fight for the title of SSOP champion and gain the largest financial reward of 6,738€ together with a unique trophy and SSOP Cardprotector worth of 1,000€.
The final day had an introduction scheduled at 3:00 pm, when 90 advancers sat at the poker tables and unpacked the envelopes with hot tournament chips already waiting for them. Banco Casino announced a payout structure that accommodated 53 attendees and min-cash started at 160€.
From the final day, the players gradually dropped out until the famous “hand for hand” phase took place; those present waited who would be the last to fall out without financial reward. This didn’t happen, since there was an all-in at two tables, where both players dropped out - George Livanos and Koo Hyunseo; equally dividing the min-cash of 160€. From that moment on, everyone was in paid positions.
Vlado Valent (45th), Jozef Fáber (44th), Andrej Desset (37th), Michal Šimovič (32nd), Matúš Kučera (30th), Peter Ralbovský (27th), Pavol Melichár ( 23rd), Martin Mydlárik (22nd), Kokso (21st), Peter Erbringer (17th), Róbert Gajda (13th), Boris Gál (11th) and Ján Tomčík (10th) were also eliminated infron of the gates of the final table.
The final table was formed around midnight and was dominated by the most successful poker players among the 535 entries, who had only the last step ahead of them for the desired victory.
